Life can be full of disappointments; relationships fail, jobs don’t work out, plans fall through, bosses give negative feedback. What is important is that when we do encounter disappointment that we don’t allow it to fester and become bitterness, self-hate and blame. How we react and respond to the experience of disappointment makes a huge difference to how quickly we are able to recover and keep moving forward.
