Overcome your negative self-talk

Hello there Inkling tribe,

For this episode of Inkling TV we have a question for you: do you have a nasty voice in your head that says mean and destructive things to you? Does this voice hold you back; convince you that terrible things are going to happen; tell you that you are not enough, never will be enough and that ultimately you are going to die old and alone. Well let us say two things to you:

  1. Congratulations, you are a human being. You are not alone, we all have this voice; it is a part of our physiology and unfortunately it is not about to magically disappear.
  2. You don’t have to let this voice rule your life. While we all have this voice, we all have a choice. We can decide to either let our nasty voice boss us around, or we can decide to ignore that BIG MEANIE and make choices move us closer to what lights us up, what is important to us and what helps us to live extraordinary lives and careers.

If you are someone that has a REALLY BIG lizard voice and are feeling trapped in it’s wicked ways, we would recommend that you get some help from a coach or a counselor. You don’t have to do it alone.
