A leading Australian logistics company launched a refreshed leadership capability framework to strengthen skills in engaging people, leading the business, and delivering results. To embed these capabilities, they chose to partner with Inkling to design and deliver two integrated leadership development programs – one for emerging leaders and another for mid-senior level leaders.

Drawing on their experience of rapid growth and evolving market demands, the organisation sought a comprehensive approach that would create a shared leadership language, build stronger networks throughout the organisation, and develop the leadership mindset needed to navigate an increasingly complex operating environment.

We developed a dual-program approach, supporting leaders at every stage of their journey.

Inkling designed two complementary leadership programs that worked together to create a cohesive leadership development ecosystem. The Emerging Leaders Program provided a five-month development journey for frontline leaders, focusing on self-empowerment, high-performing teams, and building confidence through facilitated learning modules and Action Learning Circles. The Mid-Senior Leaders Program offered a seven-to-nine month comprehensive experience for managers and high-potential leaders, incorporating advanced leadership toolkits, individual coaching, and inclusive leadership practices. Both programs were specifically designed to embed the organisation’s leadership capability framework while fostering a shared leadership language and building networks that strengthen performance across the entire organisation.
